Howdy!

I’m Kimmie– born and raised in Florida, currently in Chicago. I’m a writer, editor, and creative. I like traveling, eating, watching movies and tv shows, reading, and thrifting. I drink 2-3 cups of coffee every day, I love cats, I’m a pop culture expert, and I enjoy making people laugh. I’m an Aries sun/Scorpio moon (yikes). I married my high school sweetheart, and I adore my friends. It’s a good life.

After six years of promoting capitalism in corporate America, I’m looking for something new :) I have experience in marketing, social media, copywriting, and coordinating; and, boy, do I know my way around Canva!

I quit my job, turned 30, and moved across the country in the span of six months. It’s been a huge adjustment, but I’m embracing the challenges.

So consider this website my online writing portfolio/professional digital footprint while I work towards my dream: a career in book publishing.
